Ride #6 of the Great Cycle Challenge. We rode the Greenbelt again and were able to get in a 20 mile ride. It was a beautiful morning with blue skies and a nice breeze. We saw a little green snake, a raccoon and rode through a sea of dragonflies as we enjoyed the trails along with other cyclists, hikers, runners, kayakers, photographers and horse riders. We talked with a man that was taking pictures of insects-Monty B. Small world- he knew David when he was younger and goes to church with David’s parents. His memories of David are of him doing back flips on a beach with the church youth group. We also ran into my friends Dick & Linda Bullwinkle who were enjoying a ride along the equestrian trail.
