Goodbye sweet Jamuni!

Writing this with an extremely heavy heart as one of our beloved two dogs, Jamuni of the Gulab-Jamun fame is no more. He apparently ate something that had strychnine - a lethal poison that is used to kill rodents, which was probably dropped in our backyard by a crow or another bird when he was outside for a while. We have had the most terrible Sunday, and yesterday, when we had to put an end to his agony with the vet's advise, and put him to sleep. We can’t help but shed tears each time we think of him...which is almost all the time. Gulabo is quiet and wondering where her twin has gone away. .. to the dog heaven I bet; for making our lives so exciting and joyful with all his antics and affection. Goodbye Jamuni! You know that you were loved to bits and will be missed forever.
