After 17 years & 7 Championships, Jimmie Johnson & Chad Knaus will end their partnership at the end of the 2018 season. While it might be somewhat shocking, it's not that surprising. The 48 team has struggled in the last few years. Knaus will become crew to the 24, which is fitting considering that's where he started over 25 years ago! Kevin Meendering Will take over as the Crew Chief for the 48. Johnson and Knaus have been a team ever since 2002 but both agree it's time to move on.
